General Overview

Shenzhen Visual Archive provides non-exclusive editorial licensing for structured media and professional publication use.

Licensing fees begin at $250 USD per image, with final costs determined by the specific usage scope, publication type, and distribution reach. All licenses granted are subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

 

Authorized Usage

Editorial licenses permit the following uses:

Media Categories

Use within news articles, blog posts, reports, documentaries, or educational publications.

Platform Scope

Use by online media organizations, print media outlets, or digital publications.

Project Limitation

Each license applies to one specific story or editorial project.

Distribution

Worldwide distribution is permitted within the context of a single publication.

Post-Processing

Basic technical adjustments such as cropping, exposure correction, and color balancing are permitted.

Restricted Usage

The following uses are strictly prohibited under the standard editorial license:

Commercial Applications

Use in advertising, branding, packaging, product promotion, or corporate marketing.

Marketing & Sponsored Content

Use within paid advertisements, promotional campaigns, or sponsored media.

Third-Party Distribution

Resale, redistribution, sublicensing, or uploading images to stock libraries or third-party media repositories.

Digital Products & Merchandise

Use in logos, NFTs, design templates, prints for sale, or physical merchandise.

Artificial Intelligence & Data Training

Inclusion in artificial intelligence training datasets, machine learning systems, or automated image-generation platforms is strictly prohibited.

10-Image Editorial Collection

Final licensing fees may vary depending on:

  • Publication type

  • Total audience size

  • Print run or estimated digital reach

Extended Licensing & Inquiries

For projects involving multiple publications, international syndication, long-term archival use, or commercial rights, a custom license agreement may be issued.

To initiate a licensing request, please provide:

  • Image reference number

  • Nature of intended usage (Editorial, Documentary, Educational, etc.)

  • Organization or publication name

  • Distribution metrics (print run or estimated digital reach)

  • Expected duration of use

A license grants limited usage rights only and does not constitute a transfer of copyright or ownership.

Any unauthorized use beyond the scope of the granted license constitutes copyright infringement and may result in additional licensing fees and potential legal proceedings.
